SL DisneyBound Blogger Challenge (Week Four) – Snow White

This week I got to work right away when I found out the character was going to be Snow White.  I was really excited to piece together a cute outfit.  I have been wearing the final piece since Saturday, so I guess you can say I really liked the outcome.  I remember seeing Snow White at the movie theater when it was rereleased when I was little, and it was different to me than the other Disney movies.  I guess maybe because it’s the original Disney movie, and she’s the orignal Disney princess.  It was always on a different level to me because it was historical.  It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the movie though.  I really wanted to watch it on SL for inspiration for this challenge, but I couldn’t find it in SL.  Anyone know if there is a copy of it somewhere?  Anyways, on to the fashion details!

SL DisneyBound Blogger Challenge (Week Three) – Gaston

I’m so behind on blogging this week.  I had to take my Macbook Pro to the Apple store, and it turns out my hard drive was dying.  I’m had to redo everything even making a new Flickr due to the new hard drive and password issues.  😦  But I’m here again to blog the newest SL DisneyBound character which is Gaston, the villain from Beauty and the Beast.  I was really nervous about putting together this look, but it’s turned out to be my favorite so far.  Hope you like!

SL DisneyBound Blogger Challenge (Week Two) – Kiss the Girl

I’ve been under the weather this week, but I still managed to put together a look for the SL DisneyBound Blogger Challenge!  This week our character was Ariel from the Little Mermaid in the “Kiss the Girl” scene when Ariel is in a rowboat with Prince Eric hoping for that magical kiss!  I love the Little Mermaid.  I always wanted to be a mermaid growing up, and I thought Ariel was so lucky!  I wanted my outfit to be something a little more modern than exactly what Ariel wore, but it still had to be something you could believe was what she wore in the “Kiss the Girl” scene.  I think I managed to pull it off!

SL DisneyBound Blogger Challenge (Week One) – Peter Pan

Natalee Oodles is bringing a RL trend called DisneyBounding to SL with a 26 week blogger challenge.  Each week there will be a new Disney Character picked.  You can read more about it here .

So for this week I had to put together an outfit that recreates the look of Peter Pan!  I knew right away that I wanted to wear a shirt with the famous Peter Pan collar which I found by Ingenue.  You can currently find it at the Arcade.  I paired it with some brown shorts from TokiDoki and {mon tissu} Leggings in Olive.  I also picked one of my favorite boots in SL that I haven’t worn in a long time, the {mon tissu} Heathrow Boots.  I wanted to wear some sort of brown feather since that’s what Peter Pan wore in his hat, so these feather earrings from Mandala worked perfectly!
